Welcome back to AST! I hope that everyone had a restful and enjoyable break. I'm excited about the new semester and look forward to great discussions about ideas between now and June. Today, we are going to spend some time with the following:
- plotting / examining seasonal data. What happened over the first semester?
- beginning an inquiry. Where does a plant add length?
- discussing mitosis. Remember those flip books you made? What is the purpose of mitosis? What would happen if an organism could only divide cells through mitosis?
For next class, please prepare a procedure and data table for this investigation.
